Acute lymphoblastic leukaemia is a type of cancer that can affect both adults and children. It is a cancer of the white blood cells where it increases rapidly in size.


Feeling tired and restless, night sweating, getting repeat infections over a short duration, change in skin colour, getting bruises on your skin easily, some people even develop fever with no obvious source of infection.

Other symptoms include, weight loss, lumps under the armpit, groin and feeling just not right.


Depending on the stage, most people tend to have medications called chemotherapy prescribed and this is done by the haematology team along with the cancer doctors
